What I liked most about working with you is your genuine interest and caring in my progress. Your sense of humor. Your remembering of and reminding me of things that are important to me so that I didn't go overboard on lifestyle changes to the point where I would eventually fail because I was abstaining too much from the pleasures of life. 

I worked with Stella for 3 months. I didn’t really know her and hadn’t talked with anyone that had worked with her. But I clearly got way more out of it than I expected! Not only did I shed some weight, but I also learned how to eat healthier and how to drastically reduce cravings so that I could lose even more weight on my own and keep it off.

I've lost 19 lbs and keep losing

I've lost 19 lbs and keep losing. I went from size 16 to size 12! I cleaned up my wardrobe and gave away all the pants that were too big, it felt so good! I know I won’t need them anymore, because it’s natural to keep the weight off now, I don’t have to work hard for it!

It’s not that hard, you just have to take the time… And that’s one of the things I loved the most with Stella, she is very patient and never tried to push me where I didn’t want to go. She would offer tools and suggestions, and then let me chose the ones I wanted to try out. I am so thankful for the weight I have lost, but I think what makes me even happier is the new way I look at myself and the way I live my life now and how it has changed my relationships with others. This is a blessing!!!

Stella has helped me realize that being healthy is not just about weight and exercise; it’s also about caring for myself as much as I care for others. I have learned so much with Health Coaching! Dive deeper

What makes Stella stand out to me is her listening to the deeper issues covered under apparently superficial problems. She is not afraid to dive deeper, and help you to explore further into what is holding you back. And, by doing so, we may divert entirely from the initial goal set for the session, but that is great, because I always end up with an outcome much bigger and better than I had initially set up for myself.

Her approach is very tactful, not intrusive, and open-minded, and she is fully present at the session, which makes you feel accompanied every step of the way. Her coaching presence allows her to always bring a fresh, unthought-of perspective to every situation, which reorganizes your mental content in different “drawers”, opening up room to new possibilities.

I always leave the session feeling “loved”, because that is the energy Stella puts out during the entire encounter: it doesn’t matter what you are going through, where you are and where you want to be, she is there, and she can “love” you for where you are, and for who you are. Trying to approach lifestyle change can be daunting. Many of us struggle with habits that seem to have a life of their own, unaffected by any efforts we make. Even during the pandemic, I am not craving comfort food

Long-lasting impact on my relationship with food

I started working with Stella at a time when I had been successfully counting calories for years, but knew that I was on the brink of stopping. Her idea of being able to be free of those confines (no matter how much comfort it gave me) was intriguing and refreshing. Working together, she helped me establish a framework for myself that I could use to make the healthiest decisions regarding food while still allowing me the indulgences that I craved. It took me a little while to put "everything in moderation" into practice effectively, but with her help it finally sunk in.

Stella also challenged me to expand my horizons regarding what I ate, taught me how to make bread, and helped me find the confidence to experiment with my cooking.  Now I bake my own bread and my own sweet treats, and I cook with greater confidence. I was in control

I had a great time working with Stella. She used a very personalized approach and focused on areas that I could realistically improve, but most importantly, that I was ready and motivated enough to work on. I had only a few pounds to lose to reach my weight goal, and exercising more and more just wouldn't do it.

She provided me with advises and tips about the way I eat and exercise that helped me reach my goal. She came up with ideas I had not thought about before.

I liked that she was not trying to impose me a specific calendar or routine, but went with a one-at-a-time, small goal approach, which she understood I could sustain longer than one involving drastic changes to my daily routine. Very much down-to-earth

Before working with Stella, I only ate ready-made processed food, with very little natural foods such as vegetables and fruit. Stella is warm, but at the same time, very much down to earth, and she does not waste time with B.S. We only worked together for a few weeks, but it was enough for me to completely change my eating habits.
