It also tells you where and how to find a qualified health coach who is certified by the national board of health and wellness coaching. This is critical, because otherwise, it is hard to know if the training your coach has received is legit or not. I am not saying that a health coach who is not board certified is not good. Many are amazing! But there are also plenty of charlatans out there, unfortunately, because health coaching is not yet well regulated. Since the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches has collaborated with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) since 2016 to provide a robust board certification examination, it is a token of quality and reliability.
